LAHORE: Like other sectors of economy, the construction sector is also facing the aftermath of unprecedented price-hike in recent years. The hard-hit is the cost of material followed by the costs of transportation and the labour involved in various areas of building and construction.

Islamabad: Capital to have three more boulevards

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is planning to construct three more avenues in the federal capital.
“Planning work on 6th Avenue, 10th and 11th Avenue is underway and the civic agency has issued Terms of Reference (ToR) to eight designing firms including two international companies,” a Capital Development Authority (CDA) official told The Post Monday.

Islamabad: CDA set to approve Rs 57m for sector I-15 feasibility
Submitted by Overseas on Tue, 04/01/2008 - 21:29ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority Development (CDA) is likely to approve Rs 57.2157 million for feasibility study of Sector I-15 in next Development Working Party (DWP) meeting. The CDA has hired a private consultant company for the feasibility study of the project and under agreement the consultant would complete the study of the project within five months, an official source told Daily Times.
