The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) administration launched a gas pipeline installation project in Sector B of Phase-VI on Thursday.
DHA Administrator Brigadier Muhammad Aslam said the DHA administration was trying its best to complete the development in the new phases as soon as possible to facilitate the residents of the area.

The Traffic Engineering and Planning Department (TEPA) will construct a seven-storey parking plaza in the provincial capital with an estimated cost of Rs 499 million.
The parking plaza to be constructed at the Liberty market on 3 kanals and 16 marlas land with a capacity of 206 cars, will be operative for 12 hours a day and its proposed rate of parking is said to be Rs 25 per hour.

The Samanabad and Data Gunj Bukhsh town administrations vacated 16 kanals of public land from illegal occupants during a joint operation against encroachers in collaboration with police on Thursday. The authorities mostly concentrated on the recovery of the land situated in Miani Sahib, Sagian Bridge, Bund Road and linking areas. They demolished solid structures including houses and commercial outlets, which had been established by different occupants over the past few decades.

RAWALPINDI: The purchase and sale of property in the Rawalpindi tehsil office has been computerized, said sources on Wednesday.
The purpose of the computerization was to abolish fraud completely in the sale and purchase of property and in the preparation of documents, sources said.
Sources said that in the preparation of documents and the purchase of property, pictures of witnesses and submission of computerizes national identity cards of all concerned have been made mandatory.

DHA Karachi has launched another land mark project "DHA CITY KARACHI" on Super Highway, located at 20 minutes drive from Quid-e-Azam International Airport.
Total available land in DHA City is 11640 acers out of which around 5000 acres land is being offered for allotment to various categories of allottees. For the first time the plots are also being offered to common citizens in open ballot and a very easy payment term extending from 9 - 10 years.

The government has decided to lift a ban on the auction of properties mortgaged by defaulters of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) and the House Building Finance Corporation Limited (HBFC), in light of a Supreme Court’s decision. A Finance Ministry spokesman said the ministry had banned the auction of mortgaged properties of defaulters of ZTBL and HBFC.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi Friday reviewed the pace of development work in Sector I-11 which finally started with the construction of northern and western service roads after remaining stalled for almost 30 years.

The Lahore High Court chief justice on Thursday constituted a four- member committee to check the revenue record and take action against the illegal occupants of the Atchison Housing Society (AHS) after the co-operative society registrar reported that more than 50 per cent of plots in the society were under illegal possession.
The committee will be headed by EDO(R) while other members included SP Sadar, the co-operative society registrar and the AHS president.

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has allocated seven acres of land in Shakarparian area for the establishment of National Centre for Arts & Culture to promote cultural activities in the country.
According to a senior official of the Ministry of Culture, the proposed centre will house modern facilities, which will help bringing arts and culture activities at par with the 21st century requirements.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi has called for brisk development work in Sector D-12 so that people who were allotted plots way back in 1988 could construct their houses at the earliest.
The CDA chairman took a round of the sector on Thursday to review the pace of development work.
Imtiaz Inayat Elahi said that it is the primary responsibility of the CDA to meet the growing residential requirements of citizens by taking steps to overcome shortage of housing units in the federal capital.
